* A note from the adjudicator -  There are two editions floating around of the Bordogni etudes and the #17 I cited is from the Mulchahy Complete vocalises (which has 8 pages of notes before the music) and not the Alan Raph/Carl Fischer edition which this student may have. Because of the different editions available I would suggest clarifying p.20 in the Fischer/ p.25 in Mulchahy or we can remove the page number all together and just say "in the key of G major"

Students will be asked to demonstrate proper tuning techniques. A pitch pipe or tuning fork is REQUIRED. Students will not be allowed to use the mallet instruments to tune timpani.
